Lead Engineering Manager - Capital Projects - Mining
Seeking Engineering Management experience with Project Management and Capital Project development expertise for a lead Engineering Manager position in a large provider of phosphate products.
Key
Responsibilities:
Act as the lead Project Coordinator or Manager for capital project development.
Present and communicate capital project and mine development plans to upper management.
Ensure safe execution of projects, provide improvements to reduce injury and incident rates
Develop capital budgets and rank projects based on need and urgency.
Direct, mentor, staff and otherwise direct the work activities of the engineering team.
Provide fiscal oversight and accountability for all projects including scheduling and forecasting of costs.
Education and
Experience:
B.S. or M.S. in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
3
years experience overseeing teams of engineers.
Familiarity with mining safety standards, operational guidelines and standard operating procedures.
